The Fae Are Coming

We’ve been working hard over in Division 6 HQ and are very happy to say that we have just completed the first round of playtesting for the newest title in the Division 6 universe: Faerie

.

Faerie is a stand-alone game in which you play Fae, within their own Faerie Realm. However, this new game is also fully compatible with Division 6, which means you’ll be able to expand your games to include playable Fae in the human realm, alongside your Division 6 agents, or alternatively let your agents explore the Faerie Realm.

Faerie is set to be a game and setting that is entirely unique, even among the wide range of fantasy games out there. Luthaneal has taken an approach to the Fae that blends together real-world fairy lore from all around the world, with entirely original fantasy concepts and settings.

The first round of playtests has gone very well and our playtesters are in love with the setting and character concepts. We’re now taking on board the feedback we’ve received and making some changes to the mechanics, ahead of the next round of playtesting. While that happens, the setting material is also being expanded, so that the end result will be as rich and wonderful as possible.

But That’s Not All

Several other Division 6 titles are also in production. These include “The Cryptid Codex”, which contains details and stats for a wide range of monsters and creatures, “Daemonologie” which will cover the wraiths, demons, devils, and all other spirit beings of the Division 6 universe. We also have “The Grand Grimoire”, which features masses of new Sorcerer spells for your Division 6 agents to wield. Alongside that, we have a new Psion’s toolbox coming, with new Techniques and special traits for your Psion characters. Finally, “Web Worlds” is a title that expands the digital terrain of Division 6, with all the most popular domains that can be visited, as well as fresh dangers that can come with the online world and how these online territories can feature in your games.

Coming Soon

The plan is to release all of these new titles at the same time, with a new Kickstarter and the target release date is around August, 2026. So keep an eye out for the new campaign, when it drops. Those on our mailing list will get emails when the time comes.

There’s hope that we can also get some new Division 6 Case Files out, too. While some progress has been made on these, we’ll openly say that they are currently a lower priority than the above books. So they may be be released with the new Kickstarter or they may be released separately, at a later date. As much as I’d like to tell you more about these planned adventure books, we’ll save any spoilers for when they’re a little closer to completion.

Of course, we’d be very happy to see people releasing their own, independent case files for Division 6 and will happily link to them on the Division 6 website.

That’s about it for now.

Happy Gaming!
